Mother Teresa
She was formally beatified in October 2003 by Pope John Paul II and is now known as Blessed Teresa of Calcutta. She was the famous Catholic nun who helped the poor people of India. Her selfless work among the poverty-stricken people of Calcutta) became a symbol and motivation for people all over the world and she was honored with Nobel Peace Prize for her work in 1979 and India's highest civilian honour.
She was a living saint who offered a great example and inspiration to the world.
